2. ORIGIN & PROVENANCE

  • COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Burma (Myanmar)

  • LOCALITY: Mogok Valley  THE ROUGH WAS FROM MY FAMILY AND ROUGH FOUND BY MY PAST FAMILY MEMBER.

  • GEOLOGICAL CONTEXT: This specimen exhibits the distinct fluorescence and high-chromium saturation characteristic of the marble-hosted deposits in the Mogok region. Unlike African specimens, this stone's visual profile unmistakenly Burmese.

3. ANALYSIS & TREATMENT STATUS

TREATMENT VERDICT: NONE (NATURAL)  NO HEAT  - NOT FILLED - NO TREATMENT OF ANY KIND)

Extensive examination confirms this is a Natural, Untreated specimen. There are no indications of lead-glass filling, flux-healing, or beryllium diffusion. The presence of intact natural rutile "silk" and crystalline fingerprints confirms the stone has not been subjected to thermal enhancement.  If some one one day did have it proffetionaly heated one can only imagin the spendor, but we would never do that.

TECHNICAL OBSERVATIONS

  • Luminescence: Under concentrated lighting, the specimen displays a powerful, fiery red glow, indicative of natural Burmese ruby fluorescence.  two images i have loaded, show the ruby under lighted with a normal gemstone torch light - the red glow image shows the ruby under lighted with uv gemstone torch

  • Internal Characteristics: The dense network of natural silk confirms a "hard asset" status for inflation-hedging.

  • Potential: Given the massive 67-carat scale, should a specialist elect to perform a thermal "silk-melting" process in a specialized facility (Thailand/Sri Lanka), the resulting clarity gain could potentially elevate this stone into the seven-figure (US$1,000,000+) investment tier.
